I'm a paragraph. Oh, wait. That's from the template. I wonder what life would be like as a paragraph. It probably depends on the punctuation.

Hopeful Hilarity

The world’s a hot mess—has been since Cain introduced the first workplace violence incident. Or was it Abel? All I remember from Sunday school is one of them smote the other.

Regardless of who's at fault, you urgently need an escape from the relentless barrage of negative news and uncertainty. You crave a readily available relief valve of fun as a respite in the daily consumption of global crap.

As a humor writer and mental-health advocate, I forge laugh vents—stories, essays, even T-shirts—that let you exhale, smile, and reload your hope. I'm here to transport you into captivating new realms where worries dissolve and slivers of enjoyment emerge.

I believe it's my responsibility to provide you with a crucial mental reset to face daily challenges. These include fighting authoritarian creep to coaxing your teenage son to clean his room—frankly, I'm not sure what's harder.

Some of the material will be laughter-filled escapism. Think seltzer bottles and pratfalls. Others will veer into the satirical with a mix of drama, humor, and hope. The rest? Well, probably some stupid stuff about neurodivergent detective dinosaurs living in Camelot.

See, I've encountered the same weights of the world as many of you do daily. Being divorced, homeless, and diagnosed with bipolar disorder at age 51 helps you look at the world differently. I believe jollification (I swear, it's a word) and honesty are powerful tools to not only navigate what the world throws at us but also to advocate for your mental health.

So, discover the joy of transporting yourself to worlds where laughter and the mustard seed of light prevail, even through the chaos.
